Kickstart your career with Catalyst
We are now hiring for the seventh in-take of the Catalyst team at the Sussex Innovation Centre and have roles avaliable in Falmer, Brighton, and Croydon
We have over 190 companies in our community, with a vast range of solutions, technologies, and products - and our team work with around 25 companies over the year on a wide variety of projects.
These projects include roles such as insight, research, web design, sales, marketing, social media, event support, business administrations, statistics, project management - everything that a growing company needs to keep growing.
It is the ideal way to work with lots of companies to have a tangible impact, and along the way you learn a lot about yourself - what roles you like, and don't, industries of interest and a lot more in-between.
We interview everyone who applies, from every school – and have placement year, undergrads and masters’ graduates in each year.
Representing many fields of knowledge provides a practical advantage for both the team and our clients, but we do not recruit based on subject.
We look for character, an interest in running a small business in the future, and students who are ready for a challenging environment.
Fixed-term 12 month contract with start dates from June through to October
£18,000 per annum in Brighton and £20,572 per annum in Croydon
Generous holiday allowance of 25 days per year, plus bank holidays
What Our Team Say
"I feel so grateful for the opportunity I was given and for the skills and experiences I've gained. I truly think the Catalyst team offers graduate and placement students a unique experience and there is nowhere else I would have rather spent my first year out of university!"
Beth Johnson, Catalyst Team Five Member
“1311 hours and 43 clients later, my Catalyst journey has come to an end. I’ve had a great time, met great colleagues, great managers, and great clients, who all taught me valuable lessons, both professionally and on a personal level.”
"Catalyst has exposed me to a near-endless list of job roles and companies, and I’m now much more confident in what I want from my career as I move forward. But ultimately, it’s the skills and experiences that are less easy to quantify which will stand by me the most."
